I don't think this is the right place for this help... but i couldn't see where else to post.. so my apologies if it should be elsewhere..
I had a CCJ brought against me in (around) 2000, and i need to find out specific details about it in order to study for my AAT. I need to find out detailed dates, amounts, etc..
It is no longer on my credit report.. where else could i find it?
Many thanks for any help!

Reading through that site... it seems it only holds records for the past 6 years? Have i read it correctly, or will it bring up the older cleared debts too?0

Sorry, that is the official record holder but I think you may be right:Unless set aside or cancelled, a judgment remains on the Register for a period of six years from its registration date.
I'm stumped. They would of course now need permission from the court to enforce the debt. As no record seems to exist anywhere can you just ignore it?0 -
I would just ignore it, it's history."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

The issuing court would presumably still have records?Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Hello... apologies for not thanking people straight away, all help is appreciated!

The CCJ itself is cleared, so there is no question of paying back debt... that is all settled.
I've spoken to the county council (who the original debt was with) and they've given me some details... not enough to satisfy the AAT tho!
I've spoken to the courts, who cannot help me without a case number.
I've spoken to the registry trust who hold no record of it.
I've spoken to experian (and purchased a credit report - which doesnt mention it) who hold no record of it.
I've spoken to AAT again, who despite the above, still tell me i need to provide the details.
I have no qualms just pretending it never existed personally, but i am just worried it'll pop up and I'll not be allowed to study at college... That would be sod's law!
Thanks once again

If nobody knows about it, how will it "pop up"?0

I dont know... thats the bit i am doubting! lol!
I dont think it will... however, this is a pretty big life plan for me, and i dont want to leave too much to chance and risk ruining mine and my kids futures.. i'd like to be as close to 100% as i can be before i risk it.
I am just worrying unnecessarily aren't I?
