www.qype.com - social media type site, trying to be facebook.. needs more work / members..
usually promoting some new product / shop etc, and the convention is to take an active part in xyz event, and then post a review afterwards..
both the events i've been to were good fun, and free!
(latest was at the local Recipease- Jamie Oliver's latest pet prject? - though he wasnt there..
It's a deli shop with a 'watch the cook' type cafe at the back.. doing regular themed cook it, eat it courses..
most are payable though- check first!

I've been to a few of their events - you have to join the forum thread on their site (http://www.qype.co.uk/groups/2931-Qypers-Love-Events ) and they'll let you know when you can apply for places.
But if you're looking for a cheap place to eat then Qype is really useful - nice to look at the reviews and know which places I should avoid ;-)June: L'oreal Goody Bag:p:p*Virgin Vie Shimmer Powder
July: Roja Dove Ltd. Ed. 'Time Out' Perfume:p*Veuve Clicquot Yellowboam Champagne*:p£1,500*:pSuperKettle:p0 -
