Working for Tescos over Christmas.

Hi, I wondered if anyone has worked for Tescos over Christmas.
I've just had an interview inviting me in for an interview and want to go along prepared. How flexible are they with the hours you work, what are the expected shifts?
Ive just started working in a cold call centre as the hours are really flexible, horrible job that I could probably walk in and out of as they have a really high staff turnover.

Anyway, If anyone could give me some information about Tescos it would be gratefully received.

I started 2 weeks ago. I applied for 2 weekend nights, 10-7 both nights. The Sunday night I am allowed to go in any time after 4pm on the Sunday, as long as my full 9 hours are done. They seem to be very flexible. The pay is quite good too.

they might be flexible if your temps but if you want permament job stick to your times and offer plenty of overtime. this seems to work at our store.

They only phoned me this evening so maybe they will contact you soon.

I gave my application in around the middle of November. I dont know if they get back to everyone who applies. I would have thought so though, even if it were just a standard letter. Hope you hear from them soon.

i did get a letter from them saying they were lookin at the applications and they would get back to me, but i got the letter last wk maybe end of wk b4
