Hi anyone bought one of these? hubby has back problems and is considering one. We have a kingsize orthopedic bed but wonder if these are really all that the adverts say.
It looks like they can go from about £800 - £100 + ( QVC or Ideal World)
and comments appreciated and best price, appreciated even more

We've got several memory foam mattresses and they really work!

They are also on ebay!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0 -
We got a kingsize topper (Thermadrift?) in Costco for about £160 if memory serves. It's wonderful - wouldn't be without it. The pillows take some getting used to - we both had sore necks for the first week.Touch my food ... Feel my fork!0

I got a topper from that link above in germany on ebay
It is comfortable, but I wouldn't say that it helped back problems0 -
thanks

I would have thought/hoped for £800 it would be a memory foam matress not topper? Does anyone know if a topper is as good as an entire foam mattress?

I hated ours!
I found it uncomfortable, couldnt sleep and then ached like mad for 2 whole days!
Hubby said i would get used to it in time, but honestly couldnt stand it.
I took it off the bed while hubby was at work
I cant understand what all the hype is about them, s'pose im just different!

I bought one a year or so ago, and its great! I've had back pains for years, and within a month or two of getting the topper they had stopped.
Now I appreciate that this could be a reflection on my old mattress rather than the topper, but I do sleep a lot better.
I took the plunge and bought a full memory foam mattress off ebay, and although it is comfortable, after a couple of nights I missed the topper so much that I've put it back on0 -
I've got back problems and have slept on both a topper and a full mattress - I can't tell the difference. After a few days of aches and pains, my back pain has pretty much gone. A solid thumbs up from me.Touch my food ... Feel my fork!0

Shoot me down if I am wrong but I am sure I have seen these in Dunelm for under the £100 mark.
I don't have one but have had memory pillows for about 5 years, and they are a god send, I wouldn't be without them. Left them behind at my parents when we went visiting recently, the following week without them was a complete nightmare.
Only thing to bear in mind is that you will want to take such a precious item on holidays with you, we always take our pillows whereever we go. They are probably some of the best travelled pillows in the country.:DI had a plan..........its here somewhere.0
