Not meaning to sound OTT but surely if people wanted to be cantacted then they would give you thier addy any way. If they did not give you thier address and have taken the trouble to go XD then why do any of us (excusing exceptional circs) have the right go through the elec role

Sorry but i thought this really needed to be said i do not mean any offence by it just that people should have a good think before searching for thier ex that they hate ect ect

Note that you can be on the electoral register without being on this (or similar) databases. When registering, you have the option of opting out of the "edited register". This means your details can only be found by going to the county records office (or wherever) and looking in the physical register. By making sure you opt out, you can cut down on junk mail as this database is often searched by the people who send you junk mail.

It's way out of date anyway. I'm still on there with my ex and he was removed 4 years ago.

i did say it ws under 5 years old but somebody was badley attacked the other day had there names but no addresses so i found them on here
we did have a rough idea where they lived so now we have there addresses
you can remove your self if you wish

its not always about finding exes

I was on this site the other day. I saw the info was from 2001.. but i cant see where that is stated now.
