What was there reason behind why they couldn't help you?
Do you not have enough surplus money?
When I spoke with them I had £100 to divide between 6 debts totalling £25K (largest was £15K) - they were able to help me (though we decided to go bankrupt instead)LBM: 25th November 2010 - total debt: 10762.38

Grand total: £10115.55

thanks for the reply. i have not got enough surplus money each money. This was calculated by what I should have been paying.
They said cannot help, speak to creditiors pay a £1 a month or sell my house and rent!!!!!!!
have been speaking to creditiors who advised me to speak to cccs. The woman I spoke to today I feel she judged me and considering the phone meeting was to last at least an hour, I was on the phone for 26 mins!!!!
I was offered no other help at all. Not a happy bunny, thought this was going to help me not hinder me even more!!!!0 -
Could you please do a SOA for us?
Read Southern scousers sticky "first time posters" I dont know whats gpoing on but CCCS do seem to e using the "sell your house" line a lot. Now it may in fact be a good idea, but lets see your SOA first
Dont panic
lynz:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

An SOA is a statement of affairs so you're basically telling us what your incoming is (and where from) and what your currently pay out (bills etc) and then a breakdown of your debt! I think there is a template here somewhere but I've not done one so dont know where!
Do you own your own home?
Thats strange as I found CCCS really helpful when I spoke to them (and I spoke to them several times) - we just decided that bankruptcy was a better solution for us (we'd spoken to CCCS about this too and they agreed but said they would do a DMP with us if we didn't want to do this)LBM: 25th November 2010 - total debt: 10762.38

it would help both you and everyone reading this if you worked out everything monthly and added up the totals
so for your income add up 175+50 = 225 and multify by 4.33 (to make it approx a calender month.
so total monthly income is 975
for your spending some are monthly and some weekly..multiple the weekly ones by 4.33
and add a total for your spending
also add a total for debts and monthly debts repayment0
