We have started down this route and I think it is just a matter of time before smoking is really really considered a social faux pas.Always overestimating...0

Another reason to be glad I've quit. Saying that, what's to stop passengers exiting the building and simply walking across to the carpark? The last time I was there I checked in my bags and walked out the front door, just the same as you can do in any airport.

And that means special outdoor areas close to the planes. Must cost a fortune to make those special areas and keep them supervised. I say charge at least £5 a cig.0 -

Seen the report on news and it showed the smoking enclosure. It's still in the building so it should be still be a no smoking area. Do smoke huts etc not have to be 75% open?0

I think strangely enough you can take lighters through security but you aren't allowed them in checked-in luggage.0
