Can anyone help with some advice please.
I took out a personal loan with MBNA 5 years ago with ppi and was made redundant 2 years ago, MBNA wanted proof of job seeking ,i was 61 when i took out loan, wasn't told that i was unsuitable age wise. any thoughts on this whether i have a justifiable claim?. Forgot to mention that i had to take out a DRO as no income exept garanteed pension credit.

Hi there, you will be able to claim mis sell, I think as you are on a DRO the "win" will go to this, is this loan included in the DRO?.
Someone else may know more about this and will post i am sure.

Look here for reasons for mis sell

I am sure some if not all will apply to your circumstances.

On what grounds were you unsuitable for PPI - Men's retirement age then was 65 - you were under it - did you go bankrupt just because of this debt?

If you were declared bankrupt shouldn't a payout for PPI be split between the creditors you failed to repay?

The above is merely an observation and is not meant to be judgmental.
