Just an idea (sorry for the many typos that may appear here, my eyes are starting to flip around after taking medication and I can write with my head but my eyes and coordination are doing other things!).
Do you feel your condition is now affecting your work? not just day to day tasks but in terms of your boss having concerns nd worries for you. Do you think you could for a short while reduce oyur hours or take some sick leave? It could be then just want you need to get your head together, get some proper rest and go back stronger. However if things are deeper then and not just around pracical things like sleep and work stress then maybe looking for and sorting out new a counsellor or if its even possible to continue with your current counseller, maybe offer to go halves on the fees with your job?
I'm wondering if more counselling would infact be the best way to go for you as your post above seemed to suggest that after talking about on here on the boards things maybe felt less intense and so sleeping may have felt easier as a result, but then I am assuming loads of things there, its just what struck my mind on reading.
Keeping a diary of whats going on, noticing patterns and so then making you aware of when things start to slide and then putting things into place to protect yourself as much as possible.
Where as medical physcal pain occurs it isn't abnormal for it to feel at its worst and this is ofter due to hormonrd and lack of sleep bringing up more stress and fatigue each time. Keep a diary of the pain, see of your noticing any patterns which you can again prepare from or learn from.0 -
Then the only option is to quit work.
I cannot travel that distance on public transport as it leaves me in too much pain to function and I cannot deal with the walking between stops and destinations, and I have exhausted all other methods including Access to Work, which seems to be just another Government scheme there to make the government look as though they are actually doing something.
Whatever happens don't just quit - that could affect your entitlement to benefits.0
