Hi,
Just hoping for a little advise. At the end of Jan I applied for a Mortgage with help of adviser and it went through fast tracked the same day. Its been 2 months + now and we are doing everything our solicitor asks but he is dragging his heels and not informing us of what is happening. He asked us two wks ago for utility bill saying banks solicitors asked for it, then he told us not needed. Now he is asking for it again.
When ever we have chased stuff up he has lied. So at the moment I am just waitin. There is no chain and it will be clases as a remortgage. Little worried how long this will be help up for

Ring the lender direct, and explain the lack of co-operation from your mortgage advisor.

I'm a bit confused. Have you had your mortgage offer and it's the pre-contract enquiries which are taking time, hence the mention of your solicitor? Or are you still at pre-offer and you actually meant the adviser is at fault?

Can you explain what you mean by the bold bit? Is it a purchase, or is it a remortgage?
