Bless ya. Feel better soon
A good tip from a nurse. If it's a cold/flu you're suffering with, Have a good curry, as strong as you can tolerate. The spices (think it's the turmeric, but could be wrong....usually am!) dries up the, erm, mucus, which has you well on your way to feeling better. Everyone I recommend it to feels the benefit, shame I am too much of a wuss to handle anything spicier than a Twiglet!!

I'll second that. Tried and tested on my poor old dad.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. In your soul are infinitely precious things that cannot be taken from you.” - Oscar Wilde0 -
I have sympathy as my whole family had it, but think of all the others you then passed it on to. My little girl was so ill with this, lasting bout a week (shes only 2), I was so angry with the mother that had let her child out where we caught it from. You're contagious for about 48hrs after last time of being sick or the other. Any how, next time call in sick!0

My advice? It all comes down to personal hygiene - wash your hands before you eat, prepare food, touch your mouth etc. these horrible little bugs are happy to live on door handles, money, work surfaces etc.0
