All Gift lists created in store, online or by post, between between midnight on the 28th April and midnight on the 31st May will be automatically entered into the free prize draw for the chance to win £5,000 in John Lewis gift vouchers. Gift lists created after the closing date will not be entered into the prize draw.

Entry into the draw implies acceptance of these conditions.
Lists registered but then closed within 3 months of the closing date will not be eligible for the prize draw.
No responsibility is accepted for entries which are incomplete or illegible, or which are lost or delayed in transit or fail to be properly submitted for any reason.
The winning entry shall be drawn at random from all valid entries received on 29th April 2012 a year after the start date of the prize draw. The winning entry shall be drawn by an independent person.
There is one prize of £5,000 worth of John Lewis gift vouchers. The prize must be accepted as offered, is non transferable and there is no cash alternative. The Promoter rseerves the right to award an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the advertised prize or any part of it become unavailable.
Vouchers can be spent in John Lewis shops, on johnlewis.com or in Waitrose stores. Vouchers must be used by expiry date on vouchers supplied.
Lists which are cancelled within 3 months of being registered will not be entered into the prize draw
The judges' decision is final and binding in all matters. No correspondance will be entered into.
The winner will be notified by post by 4th May 2012
The winner must accept their prize within 1 month of the notification date. In the event that the winner refuses acceptance of the prize or the Promoter is unable to make contact with the winner within 1 month of the closing date, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner.
The winner’s name and county can be obtained after 29th April 2012 for a period of six weeks by sending a SAE to Marketing (John Lewis Home Gift List £5,000 voucher Prize Draw), John Lewis plc, 171 Victoria Street, London SW1E 5NN.
The winner may be required to take part in future publicity.
Only one entry per household.
Entrants must be UK residents at least 18 years of age, and not employees of the John Lewis Partnership, their immediate families or their agents or anyone else connected with the promotion. Gift lists which have been cancelled will also not be entered into the free prize draw.
The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, terminate or temporarily suspend this competition in the event of any unforeseen circumstances or technical reason outside its reasonable control, with no liability to any entrants or third parties.
No automated, bulk, consumer group, or third party entries are permitted.
No purchase necessary.
This competition and these terms and conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

We'd like to confirm that your list only includes gift vouchers. Your guests will be able to start buying them for you from 2 May 2011 in three ways: online at johnlewis.com, by calling 0845 600 2202 or by visiting any John Lewis shop.

Anybody else had a phone call from John Lewis after entering the competition - they left a voicemail on my mobile wanting to talk to me!

Sorry to bump. Received a call from my local John Lewis too, they called to confirm my list is live and they will be sending me invitation inserts(?) for my guests.

I registered for gift vouchers only too and received email confirmation. I guess it depends on how your local John Lewis handles it. No biggie, wasn't a pushy sales call or anything. Just note you may get a call. Good luck.
