It's too late for me to phone the registry office now and I knew someone on here would know :j
If a registry office says that it has room for 10 people does that mean the registrar and then 9 others? or is there someone else there too?
Can my boyfriend and I turn up together, rather than him waiting for me to walk down the ailse? It's a small venue so I doubt there will be an ailse! It is only going to be us, our 4 children, his nan, her partner and my best friend. I would rather us all travel there together.
What exactly happens at a wedding, we don't want songs or anything like that, we just want to get married, have nice clothes for us and the kids, nice rings and a good photographer. Maybe a meal afterwards.
Thank you!

When we got married we were told the number for guests plus us so I would guess it's the same for you.
You can walk in by yourself, with someone giving you away or with your OH. There are no rules, it's up to you and what you are comfortable with.
With civil cermonies there is no singing but you can have music played for walking in, walking out and signing the regisiter (pretty much anything that you want as long as it's not religious). You can have readings if you want but again that's optional. You can just have the vows and the signing the register if that's all you want.
