If I buy 6 bottles of wine at Tesco which has a 25% win sale will I still get a JTD voucher?

Just trying to figure out what to buy. I have a couple of Sainsburys £2 wys £20 and a large JTD voucher to use up

I know I got a JTD on Jabobs creek ? a few weeks ago which was £7.99/£5.99 but I am hoping to find something with a bigger difference

if you have a read of the thread on grabbit - tesco wine glitch or something like that cant remember the name !
people have been listing what wines they have ben buying and how much the total was.

The best wines to go for are the ones on offer at tescos eg 3 for £12 or 2 for £10 of the finest wines because the 25% is coming off the individual price of the wines and u still get the 2 for £10 or 3 for £12 discount.

    there are some finest wines at £8.99 on 2 for £10 so you would get 6 for £16.50 ish e.g 6 bottles on 2 for £10 = £30 minus the 25% discount (8.99 x 6 @ 25% = £13.48) gives you total £16.42

    Hi All

I have been reading this with interest, vaguely touched on it a few weeks ago. I am now ready to give it a go but why do I feel I am committing a crime :rotfl:. Do I just order from Mr T online as normal and at the end of my shop when I checkout is that when it will tell me it would have been cheaper at Mr A and give me the voucher. I am not going to buy things I wouldn't normally buy as that kind of defeats the purpose! Although I could stock up on cat food & persil as I see they are on the list.

    TIA :T
Getting ready to order but dont want to be out of pocket, can someone confirm how I get JTD back, is it instant or do I need to go instore or what??? Sorry.....nerves kicking in as I have never done this before :o

you need to submit your details after your delivery on the price check website and you get the voucher via email next day if you're lucky... nothing instant I'm afraid...

If tesco is cheaper they let you know next day. If they are dearer then it can be 5 days later- or you get an email saying they can't find the details, which seems to happen often to me nowadays

You better make sure you check asda's website instead as if it's not there it will come back as n/a (not available) trolleychecker/mysupermarket are not always reliable...

Thanks, I checked the Asda site and only 2 items had changed but still cheaper :D

    Also going to do a separate shop on the Ernest & Julio White Grenache (Rose) 6 x bottles @ £6.48 = 38.88 -25% = 29.16 Mr A works out £20 for 6 so I will get 18.88 JTD (I think).:T:beer:

Will let you know how I got on....wish me luck :rotfl:

Wolf Blass is £4.00 cheaper in Asda...

    so 6 x £9.99 (Tesco price) = £59.94

    - 11.98 = £47.96

generates £20.00 JTD... (should be £24.00, but its capped at £20)

works out £4.66 per bottle for an absoutely lovely glass of wine... :)

Be carefull.... it has to be the Wolf Blass Shiraz..

oooh...even better, I have never tried that one, just checked the website and says 25% discount is for deliveries on or before 14th August, so will need to see if they are doing it in-store. I have my list now, will let you know how I get on :D
