  • Another busy day for the thread. A huggy welcome to the newbies, hoping you all get the money saving coupon bug when you hang around, its quite addictive and adds a new dimension to the boring chore of food shopping. Nothing tastes as good as free (or almost free) food.

Glad you've taken a positive step and bought yourself a new helmet PM - get yourself back on them pedals. Hope bruising subsides quickly, horrible experience, put it behind you.

    Everyone else sounds quite perky.

OH noticed reserves of chocolate, j20 and phileas fogg crisps were running low (although we've plenty of shampoo to last to end of year!) and volunteered to go to nearest Tescos (my least favourite place, so grotty and run down and low morale staff; I prefer an out of town one, but a 20 min drive) and I put together a quick list which I have worked out will give me a £13 voucher back using a £15 dtd voucher. No real food on there, but I just wanted Tesco to know they may have moved the goal posts but Im right behind them! He may just pop into a nearby telephone box, triple spin and come out as Orinoco on journey home past Asda.

I have heard this week that there was a pirate dvd raid at the Asda car park boot sale that I went to last sunday. Just imagine, if they run through any cctv footage for court proceedings (if it goes that far) and they see a weird woman (moi) skulking in the shadows in the background of Asda car park. There's a little shady corner of the car park that the wind nips in & out of, like a thief in the night, and usually thats a great place for discarded receipts to rest as they settle on the ground after rolling around like tumbleweeds across the tarmac. That and the shrubbery borders are where I make my best finds! I may be caught, rabbit eyed, on cctv!

Thanks by the way, to IS for your lovely newbie post last night and thanks again for this new thread, - we may have been further challenged by Tesco but we will not be defeated!

now then, a great time for some new coupons to show their shiny little faces. I can feel a new Dove one coming on, and a Milka and dairylea, mmmm, maybe a nice free bottle of coke again. That would be good!
Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. May your soul and spirt fly sweetheart x

My alphabet-girls are with me every step of the way x
  • I guessed a code 1111 which was accepted

Printed the Huggies coupons on page 1 and got four of the Huggies starter kits. (someone else prints them for me too,

The huggies coupons are for £5 and the huggies boxes are on offer for £3. Works out a nice little earner.

Got them from Asda and opened them up and there is 3 coupons on the inside of the box (used to be 2).

Now its £2 off newborn nappies, £2 off swimmers and a £1 huggies pure wipes coupon.

Use the wipes coupons at Tesco as they are on offer for 3 for £2.59, so 3 packs of huggies wipes for free and .41p off your shopping.

Hi Have you noticed how the latest ones with 3 coupons on dont have the bar code on. Not as easy to use.

The barcode looks like the coupon will scan at £1.55. Currently £1.10 to £1.55 in Tesco; £1.35 in Asda.

oh by the way, anyone collecting coke codes, Iceland have 6 or 8 cans (sorry :o) on offer for £2.50, labelled boxes have code in corner of cardboard, underneath.
  • Do I have to buy the actual product? It always says so on the coupon and I don't like to ask at the checkout. I shop mainly in Morrisons and Tesco if I have too. Would be grateful for any advice.

If you are shopping in Tesco, yes you have to buy the actual product. They stopped us using coupons on products they sell but have not purchased.

I think Morrisons maybe the same.

BTW if you have Wilkinsons near you they may stock them and they take coupons if you buy the product, and sometimes much cheaper!

I can't remember if I tried this one, but sometimes the browser I am using can cause difficulties.

Google Chrome sometimes plays up and I have the new Fire fox which can be very tempermental. I E seems to be best for me for coupons.
