FINALLY CAUGHT UP, have been very unwell so couldn't catch up sun/mon but a bit better now, had to take 2 days off work
(i don't get paid for) anyway got a result on my tesco fiasco.... got this today...
Thank you for your timely email as I was about to reply to you. (I e-mailed her 4 days ago asking for an update...timely i think not)
I've now received more information from the Store Manager at our store following our further investigations. You were perfectly correct and our store should have accepted your Asda Price Check vouchers. They have also confirmed that you were given £4.28 and not £4.70 as I was originally informed.
In addition, I checked with some of our other stores and found that, thankfully, this was the only store refusing to accept them.
Bill was equally disappointed that this had happened and he has assured me that further training has now been carried out with his staff to ensure that they are all fully aware of the correct procedures going forward. He has also asked me to pass on his apologies to you and that if you should have any future concerns in our store, to please ask for him as he will be very happy to speak with you at any time.
We are grateful for your persistence ha ha ha ha ha!!! in this matter as this has allowed us to take the appropriate action with the store.
Although I'm unable to alleviate the upset that this has already caused, I can assure you that we're very sorry this has happened. To try and make amends, if you'd care to forward your postal address details, I'd like to send you a £20.00 Tesco Moneycard by way of an apology with my compliments.
Thank you for bringing this matter to the attention of our Chief Executives office.
Kind Regards
Helen Duke
Customer Service Executive
result i'd say, considering ive already had £10 from CS for the person being rude to me at the checkouts, if only they'd taken them in the 1st place!!!0 -

Its only since watching extreme couponning that I now call my stock pile, my stash. Love that word.
My stash is spread all over my house, in my kitchen, bedroom, loft, dining room, bathroom and yes, some in the garage.
I have at least 2 years supply of Domestos, same for washing gel/powder/ariel stain remover/fabric conditioner/shampoos/conditioner/toothpaste/soap/Gillette razor blades/shaving foam/toothbrushes/mouthwash/washing up liquid.
I have boxes and boxes of other stuff that I don't need right now but might in the future ie dishwasher tablets/finish (not got a dishwasher) in the loft.
Probably a years supply of kitchen paper towels and about 6 months supply of toilet rolls (velvet unfortunately). I have boxes and boxes of foodstuff in my stash, my freezers full of my free roast beef, and lamb and my really cheap turkey crowns I got reduced to around £2.
I have enough stuff to feed us for a good few months apart from obviously needing fresh stuff, veg, fruit, and milk, bread etc.
I love my stash and its all thanks to this thread.
So, my very grateful thanks to everyone that finds coupons. You have saved me an absolute fortune. (even though I could do with moving to a bigger house to accomodate my stash) lol.

We have tried it but DS won't eat them once they have been frozen, says they taste like cardboard.

I agree  . I called the number I found at the back of the Rustlers pack and was told they are not suitable for freezing. Anyway, our packs are gone as we had kids' friends around plus OH liked the Rustlers for lunch.0 -
