Had enough of those funny looking koalas last time - struggled giving them away :rotfl::rotfl:

Looks like Tesco are doing another fuel offer next week when you buy their toilet roll:

Gave mine away too, this one is destined for a raffle prize of a bundle of soft toys, adding it to a teddy and an owl in a small wicker hamper before I pass it to olipot....

So are there any msers who shop at Stornoway or Ullapool Tesco and if so are they trained in taking cond spends for Sainsbos etc?

    Morning all

What a lovely thing to do.

In the past when M&S used to do the £5 off £20 spend coupons on a leaflet and you used to get 4 for consecutive weeks, I used to pick up a handful and only use 1 for each week, but would pass the others onto people who looked as though they were spending the required amount. They were quite often shocked but very pleased as they had never seen the coupons (staff in my local store used to keep them hidden under the till)
At the time I didn't know that I could have probably used these in Mr T but I have learned a lot from this forum. Just wish M&S would have some coupons now.:rotfl:

thats great! i for one would appreciate if someone did that to me! i always makes me feel better to help someone else! after-all ive been there when the pennys just dont stretch as far as they need to! its not nice! :rotfl:

He is under strict instructions not to go to 'my' Tesco and do that naughty behaviour! So Midwinter, if you see a baldy headed chap with a white beard in our T's, please make sure he is not surrepticiously stuffing pork pies down his gullet and then 'losing' the packet.:rotfl:

    Hello everyone

I have been off this thread for some time now since I was told I was a bully for asking someone if they would like to thank Idlesaver for keeping this thread updated.

I was really upset about this (rightly or wrongly) as I was only trying to help the newbies settle into the thread so they felt part of the group. Some newbies felt that everyone was in a click and the newbies were left out and they have mentioned this on the thread.

By thanking idlesaver, who spends so much of her time keeping things in order, and this is not something that happens on other threads, newbies become part of the "coupon family" that exists on the coupon thread.

All I ever wanted was for everyone to feel involved in the thread, to feel welcome, so they are not afraid to ask a question if they are not sure of something.

The more people out there looking for coupons the greater chance of finding them, and this has been proven as there has been an increase in coupons available for printing. My thanks to everyone who has found coupons over the last couple of weeks, your all stars.

So all I can say now is, if I offended anyone asking (note asking, not telling) them to thank Idlesaver then I can only apologise.

I have received a number of messages from newbies and oldies on this thread, you know who you are. You've all been really kind, friendly and encouraging to me. I think your all wonderful.

We do all need to stick together in our search for coupons. We all aim to save money on our shopping, to enable us to have better lifestyles, to pay our flipping bills easier, to pay for holidays, clothes, whatever we need to support out home and family.

And hopefully we all need to be friends and support members of our coupon family who are experiencing family or health problems.

So, I hope to put all this behind me now and move forward.

    Tomorrow is a new day.

    CWxx

Welcome back CouponWoman, I am very pleased that you put me right when I was on about photocopying coupons, as I had no idea it wasnt the correct thing to do. I appreciated your honesty on this point. I could have got myself into a lot of trouble without realising , and maybe, even jepodising other coupon spenders.

    Welcome back !!!

I've been known to leave random mocs near the item they are valid for, if I've found I couldn't use them. I was in SAinsburys one day though, when they had the Nescafe menu coffees on offer and I had mocs too. I picked up some for myself, but there was this lovely elderly couple looking at them, debating if they could have a treat. Their trolley pretty much contained on RTC items and they appeared to be on a tight budget. I gave them a couple of my mocs and explained that they could use them on they were looking at and they were over the moon. They had a treat they might not have afforded otherwise, so they were happy, but there is no price you can put on the lovely feeling it gave me to help them out. :)

    awwww how sweet!...:T
