I am not going to comment on these posts, but just want to say, I know some people go through threads thanking every post, regardless of if they found it useful or not, because for them that is their placemark.
They know that any posts after they have stopped thanking are new ones they have not yet read.
I have seen this on another thread, where a really bad post was thanked by someone I know, and no one else was thanking this post. The MSEr told me they weren't thanking the poster, but they just went through thanking posts so they knew where they had read upto.
Wrong or right - something some people do. So please be aware that even though it looks like these posts have a thanks count, it may not be that at all.0 -

don't go back to lurkdom. I like looking at your Avvi0 -
We tried seperate threads (one for MOC's and one for chat) it just didn't work.
We all voted for the thread to be amalgamated into one. It really is so much easier and does work.
There have been a lot of newbies posting recently in the aftermath of DTD. So there are some repetitive questions but that aint no great shakes.
People don't need to sift through posts......
M4rtin does a sterling job by letting us and IS know when MOC's have ended.
Type your MOC finds in blue and they magically appear on the first page.:rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks again Idlesaver:A:A:T:T:T:T
~If people only want MOC's just go to the front page~
I too, may have missed out big time if the DTD wasn't posted and discussed on here in the first place:eek:
I like the competitions that Bully and others post (apart from the velvet one )
If people need to come on here for virtual hugs or just to chat they are more than welcome:A:A

Please note that my thanks is genuine:) That does explain why each post, regardless of being of any help gets thanks. It does sort of make sense- the marker bit. Feeling my way round as a "probationer" I did decide that I obviously wasn't using the thanks button enough. Now I know it can come in handy:rotfl:weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -

Thanks to another poster today I found the thread and did wonder why it suddenly stopped. Really glad to hear the majority didn't actually like the separation of the threads- but did suggest it earlier today incase others liked the idea and it stopped some of us from being told off.
Back to coupons
I haven't helped with new coupon finds but have in the last week signed up for 17 newsletters, hopefully something will come from them and I can proudly find my first coupon/be of help.weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
I haven't read the whole thread, but I have noticed that http://www.vouchercloud.com/ doesn't really get mentioned on MSE. I was told about it as an app for my iphone, and it is brilliant. A friend recently used it in a restaurant. They asked the waitress if many people used vouchercloud there, and they said that voucher codes through VC made up a high percentage of the sales.
Although it looks like VC was originally designed for days out, food and drink, you can also find discounts on electrical items, household goods, furniture, travel and many more.
I think it's brilliant. It's just a shame that I keep forgetting to use it.0 -
