ok so i went to do a coupon trip to asda, and for a few essentials.... not used coupons there before so thought i would do the right thing and ask at customer services if they accepted internet printed coupons, after the cs lady called the office to have some to come down and 'look' at my coupons?! so another woman from the office comes down and asks 'can i see the coupons your planning on using?' so i showed her the free huggies newborn kit coupon, the one for the really seeded bread and also one for the pizza fingers, she said they were ok, the first cs worker then piped up with;
i cannot use coupons for every item i buy, i also can only get a certain percentage off my bill using coupons, so i asked her, if i buy the huggies starter pack for £5.00 and i get it for free, thats 100% off my bill with the coupons right? so thats not allowed? she said yea because its asda coupons (just cause it said asda on it)
i just didnt get why there was a percentage limit on my bill and why i cant have a coupon for every item i have? if so what is this percentage?
all coupons were checked that they were valid before i left, they were all above board and were ok :mad::mad:
needless to say the young checkout lad was fab, he put all my coupons through and was very nice....
just wondering if this is big enough to complain to asda about?
ive never had this hassle at tescos!!0 -
Think you need to go back to her with this link!!
http://www.tescomagazine.com/what-you-need-to-know-about-the-Asda-price-guarantee.html
Customers shouldn’t have to shop again at a store that we believe has misled them. That's why we are accepting Asda refund vouchers at our tills. :beer:
this is the post you want with the link.0
