Razza, that was History!;) when DTD thread was born but it short lived, died on us on, 28/4/11.jbrockwell5081 wrote: »I wouldn't even try. Am not going to rush out today to buy stuff as they won't match the dtd anyway. Also am not going to give them me address/name & tel no. just for the dtd money card:eek: like somebody posted they might want to susses out who's who list in the cottage industry. I'll stick to RTD instead.
To the newbie, please do read the whole of 1st & 2nd page - it will tell you everything you need to know. Tesco DO NOT take any manufacturer coupons if they are specifically states redeem at Morrisons or Asda or Sains, etc you name it they won't take it.
TESCO only take :-
1. Competitors coupons ie: Morrison/Sains £2 off spend over £20 etc. See page 1.
2. You have to buy the actual product to use the manufacturer coupon(s). These coupons must not have any other competitors name on the coupon.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
I started about 2 1/2 weeks ago and was really baffled, however looking at the first couple of pages really helps, finding out that DTD is "double the difference" (a promo tesco used to put on but only do TD "the difference" adn APG "asda price guarantee" basically both stores do the same thing, go on to the respective sites with your receipt details and type in a few numbers it will check if theres was a diff between 4 main competitors and if there was they'll give you a coupon for the difference. Looking at the first page will give you coupons to print off that will give you money off things you usually buy, using these and the APG/TD gives you a greatly reduced shop!! (please not for APG/TD to work your shopping needs to be over 8 items) "wombling" is another term where you look round the supermarkets carpark/inside looking for old receipts, you use them like they were your own and there MIGHT be a APG/TD coupon in it for you.
Thank you for explaining this, I'm baffled and really trying to see how to make coupons work best for me. I got a leaflet with a load of morrisons coupons through the door the other day and I just look at them thinking "but I don't want any of this stuff", can you use them against anything or do you have to buy the product they are for?
good luck
