What does apg mean? and someone mentioned vouchers from Tesco price check - what does that mean please?

    APG - Asda Price Guarantee

    http://www.asdapriceguarantee.co.uk/

If they are not 10% cheaper on comparable shopping, they will give you the difference. BUT they only compare certain items, and you have to have at least 8 items on your receipt and these should be ones they will compare.

    Tesco Price Check

    https://www.tescopricecheck.com/PriceCheck/Pages/Default.aspx

They will compare your shopping to Asda, and if Asda is cheaper, they will give you a receipt for the difference to spend in Tesco. Again they only compare certain items.

Thank you so much!! I'll be getting all my receipts out now :)

One offer to mention - although not a direct money saving is that Kelloggs are doing the 2 for 1 at attractions vouchers on their cereal packets at the moment (such as Chessington, etc etc). In Tesco on Thursday Frosties were only 97p a pack so this seemed quite good what with the voucher on the pack too!

    Just trying to contribute! :D

Evening all  Quiet on here tonight (makes a change being able to read all the posts)

See a few of you (Mad, PL, Jonty) have been enjoying the wine glitch in Mr Ts...looks like it might be on until Tuesday. Might go back for some more tomorrow :D

Just used a couple of McDonalds vouchers on IWOOT.com - brilliant deal - got myself a couple of free items seen as though it's free delivery.

the small bottles of red and white wine is on offer at 4 for £5 , they range in price from £1.55 to £2,29

if you buy 12 they take the discount of for 4 for £ 5 and then because of the wine festival you also get 25% off as well. hence i got 12 small bottles for £ 8.10

Thanks very much for your replies - sounds like a great deal, will have to see if I can get to Tesco tomorrow.

My last trip (on Friday) was very successful in that I did a £57 shop and after DTD voucher (last one) plus other coupons only spent £7 so very happy. The SA said she had never seen a DTD voucher before! On the down side, after packing my shopping in the car I took my trolly back to the bay only to find that someone had left a large box of Bold washing powder in a trolly. Now if that had been me I would have been very upset at losing an expensive item like that so I took the Bold back into Tesco and after waiting in the queue forever I eventually explained how I had found the Bold in the car park. The lady at CS said thankyou for bringing it back in. I asked what would happen to it if no one claimed it and she just shrugged so I said if I called in again next week would I be able to have it if it still remained unclaimed. She just said no and then went to serve the next person. All I can assume is that one of Mr. T's staff would be one box of Bold better off!

I don't get the wine deal as to why it is a good offer with it being small bottles?:o:o

I went into my local express today to buy the notw and there was a shelf with the Hardys crest on offer that was in the dtd. I cannot believe that a wine was £10.49 2 months ago and is now on offer for £4. It just shows how much they marked the price up on it before. Lovely wine though, easily worth £4 or even less if you buy 6.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)
