I'm sorry I can't remember who said it but about Asda saying they couldn't have 15 of an item because there was a limit of three. I had a similar problem it was on 6 packs of Pepsi (this was a while back now) there were on a good offer so we wanted to buy 6 packs. The SA said we couldn't have them there was a limited of three so my partner and I wanted to split it into his 3 and my 3 we each had our own means of payment she still said no giving reasons from we knew each to we lived together ( I thought it was 3 per person not 3 per household). I did complain to Asda and HO agreed with the SA.

"I thought I would bring the subject kinda back to internet/printable coupons:D

This is a few lines from an email I received from Asda in reply to a complaint I made about my local store giving me hassle over the amount of coupons I tried to use. It totally contradicts the limit of how many of something per household and also if you are told there is a limit on how many coupons you can use.

We will accept all manufacturers' coupons (including internet coupons) in line with the terms and conditions of each coupon, i.e. Customers must buy the product to redeem the coupon.
There is no limit to the number of coupons that can be redeemed in a transaction, as long as they are redeemed against the product specified
e.g. 24 x 10p coupons off Heinz baked beans - customer must purchase 24 cans of Heinz baked beans. The only exception to this rule is coupons that say something different on them - e.g. "One per customer", "One per household" or "One per transaction"
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

This reminded me of deals in somerfields years ago...memories :) They would only let you have 3 of the items on offer and they were good offers back then..ie 4 tins of heinz beans 59p and 1.5litre bottle of coke for 59p. I went back in a few times to get more and it wasn't a big shop. Surprised they never stopped me. Sorry not very useful, just wanted to share.
