Ooh Mike, the lengths you'll go to to get a man in uniform
Knowing how much wine you drink, the car must be thirsty
,I don't find mine that bad because being diesel,I use bio diesel from a local man at 66p/L
so I only get the £70 top up when away from home.
Great car though, brilliant off road and in the snow, never let us down.

I get the bio diesel from a local company that makes it and supplies it to the council for the dust carts, not going to name names as he isn't supposed to be selling it
most people round here know him and they all buy it.
It does smell a bit like a chip pan when sitting in traffic, but being in the country we don't sit in traffic much
Glad you like the car, cheap for parts too as it's basically a Vauxhall Vectra engine and parts are available everywhere. We've had ours a few years now and love it.Debt at highest £102k

the full to 1/2 takes ages,then..boom..it's nearly empty?
I don't trust my car for more than about 20 miles when the light is on constantly,it does flicker for about 50 miles though.I know one day I will run out of diesel,DH is always telling me off saying that you shouldn't run on the last bit of the tank, you should always keep it over the 1/4? does anyone know why?

Cos when you get near the bottom of the tank, it sucks up all the bits of c**p, they clog the injectors and the car starts to run like a bag of boltsNo Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.
