Ex Pat Tax Withhold ??

Hi,

Just received my payslip today for April, when my NT should have finished.

In the deductions column on the payslip it states

"Ex Pat Tax Withhold" £348

NI A £209

Tax NIL

Anyone know what this means? I thought that my payslip would be back to normal once the NT had ended.

Thanks :(

Have you lived outside the UK recently, or do you now?

    Nope.

Born and bred in the UK for 46 years.

I just assumed that it was something connected with my BR.

I went BR in November last years and had to make 3 NT payments to Moonbeever, and expected my tax to return to normal now.

Definitly get in touch with your local tax office sounds like they got your details muddled up.

I'd check with your employer on Tuesday first as this appeared on your payslip. Your employer must have had a notice of coding from the tax office and they may be able to help you sort it out.

I used to use a company called expat tax, they sorted my tax liabilities whilst I was working overseas and non resident for tax in the uk. Probably not the same as you have but you never know.
