Can anyone recommend a free PDF editor? I want to insert and delete text and graphics directly in a .PDF file. I don't have the source document from which the PDF was created.
I've downloaded several freebies from t'internet but haven't found any that do what I want. The best so far is pdfedit.exe, but that puts a watermark on every page. Even Acrobat Professional can't insert pictures.
Thanks.

Photoshop lets you save files as PDF anyway, why not do it from there?0

I've done it, using a combination of 2 shareware PDF editors:
CAD-KAS PDF Editor and Foxit PDF Editor.
I firstly used CAD-KAS to add text and graphics to my .PDF file. When saved it adds a 'Demo Version' watermark to each page.
I then used Foxit to delete the CAD-KAS watermark. When saved for the first time, Foxit adds its own 'Evaluation Version' watermark to the page, however this can be removed by setting the fill colour to white (i.e. the same as the background colour, making it invisible) and saving again. Note that if you use Save As, Foxit always adds a new watermark, so use Save for the final version.
I could have done everything using just Foxit, however my graphics are .jpegs and Foxit can only insert .bmp files.0
