Snowball Calculator Shock

Hi Canidothis - i seem to have the same problem as you.
Thanks NikkeiJones for the advice you posted. So if you save it - do you still have to amend it each month or does it automatically reduce it for you. Really sorry if this is a daft question!0 -
Hi Bernie115
It depends on whether you stay on plan! If you have to revise your calculations because you either underpay or overpay on the original snowball amount then you will have to redo the snowball calculator. However if you stuck to the plan then you just follow the correlating month and you have the now reduced amounts. Does that make sense????0 -

www.whatsthecost.com is the one I use....and you can add transactions after saving the snowball, so no need to start a new one each time.

Me too, it also lets you export it direct into Excel as a CSV file too.
They are quite addictive, but I must admit I did fear the worst at 1st but when you see it all roll up at the bottom it will come around a lot sooner than you think.
Mine is just over 4 years, as soon as I saw that there was no way I'm going down the consolidation route.0 -

i cant quite get my head around the snowball calculatorthink I need some help. Do you load it up each and every time you go on the website or are you able to save the month by month breakdown somewhere? I just cant seem to save the sheet anywhere that is readable.
I want to get excited about an earlier DFD but think Im not using it in the same way as others:o
Hi!
Sorry, I should have elaborated a bit more. I had already filled in the Statement of Affairs sheet on that site. You can press 'save' and I think it remembers your IP address. It says somewhere that the data is saved for 200 days.
After the SOA has been done, I click the 'snowball' button which opens a new page, and allows you to load in the figures from your SOA.
You just need to fill in the monthly payments, and voila!
Good luck!0 -
Thanks Nikkeijones
