Is anyone else worried their groom won't show?

I had a friend who wished her groom wouldn't show up. But he did. She'd met him on holiday and got carried away with the romance; he'd ended up moving in with her/her parents and the whole wedding machine started up and she couldn't stop it, didn't know how to say "STOP! NO!". In the meantime, she'd started seeing another fella.... and another one really wanted to date her. I knew both these chaps and ended up in the church standing between them.
Everybody expected her to run. The one who wanted to be with her didn't know the guy on my other side was her secret bf. I was given his Porsche keys and told "if she runs, grab the car, take her back to mine for a coffee and I'll catch you up later". I was thinking "OMG, if she runs, then she's probably going to also be grabbed by the guy on my other side".
Anyway .... she just broke down in tears at the altar. Priest read out the "Do you .... take ..." 3x until she sobbed "yes". And it was job done, they were married.
It was about two months before she left him.0 -

I am VERY worried that my OH will sneak off to the british superbike qualifying which is taking place just up the road and forget the time:eek: I will just have to see if he turns up on the day, at least i'll know where to find him if he doesn't!0

You are totally not alone! Although my weirdest wedding dream has been that our Best Man (OHs Bro) turns up to the reception wearing the exact same dress as me and everyone expects me to be OK with it, whilst laughing at me!

No you are not the only one! Infact today I have not been able to get out of my mind the dream I had last night! Woke up this morning to the ASDA delivery guy at the door and he took one look at me and asked if anything was wrong! I had tears streaming down my face! I tried to explain I'd just woken up after a really bad dream where my OH who was still soundly asleep in bed at this point had left me on our wedding day!
The second ADSA dude left I shot upstairs and climbed back into bed with OH and gave him a huge cuddle - he woke up very confused and a little startled that I was sobbing!0 -
Yes I've had moments of paranoia and insecurity, although my OH is adamant about me turning up on time!
As for dreams, I've only had one so far -- I was walking down the aisle and my dress kept falling down. When I got there, my OH was in an old t-shirt and scruffy jogging bottoms!! When I demanded he change, he said it was his wedding too and he wasn't changing! Felt like thumping him when I woke up!0 -
I worry about that constantly... I suppose I really should have found a boyfriend before I organised the wedding...

haha!
I had one where it was only after the ceremony and all the photographs had been taken that someone asked me why did I get married wearing black skinny jeans and a red T-shirt instead of my dress :rotfl::rotfl:, I'd left putting my dress on until the last minute and then completely forgotten to get changed!:kisses2: Got married September 2011:smileyhea

These posts have made me laugh. im pretty sure my man will turn up...he knows no ones gonna look after (or put up with) him like I do. I think hes more worried abut me not turning up :rotfl:
My pre wedding anxiety dreams have already started!! Im not getting hitched till Sept 2012 but I dream the wedding is happening NOW and Ive not got a dress, or sorted the service or food and Im in a right panic..yet everyone still carries on like normal and expects the wedding to still take place!:eek:0 -

That sounds like a soap opera or something! I can't believe they let her carry on marrying him even though she was crying. How awful for her!0
