Clubard vouchers arrived,can i use?

My Clubcard vouchers have arrived this morning, money off my 2006 holiday again!!!

At the bottom of one set, there are vouchers for extra points, can i use these without buying the product?

Also,i normally throw the money off vouchers away, can i use these without buying the product?

And,does it make any difference if you use the "Self Scan" checkout or not,as i usually do my shopping on the way home from the night shift.

With Tescos own vouchers you have to buy the product to get the extra points/money off.

If you mean the money off vouchers that say 40p off £2.50 spend on fruit & veg etc, if you get e-vouchers you can use these online whether you actually meet the requirements or not.

Add these to your normal clubcard money off vouchers and the latest £15 off a £50 shop code (on other tesco thread), throw in some BOGOFs and you could end up with a huge delivery of goods for very little cost!

    Hope this helps
  • I actually used the £15 off code on a £50 shop earlier this week,i had £50.88 with all BOGOF for £20.

The vouchers i received this morning were for say 100 extra points for buying a Tesco Finest ready meal plus a lot of others,510 points in total,i was wondering if you had to buy the product to get the points.

  • Received my vouchers same as Carl did and I'm still as confused as ever. I'm not sure how I opted for vouchers :D, but I must have. Is there a better use for them?

And I've got a shopping basket that's still active but not full, as in I've selected the time slot for delivery. Should I use them or hang on till I know better?

It's too confusing by half for me :o

You dont opt for vouchers, you just get them quarterly unless you opt for receiving the vouchers at Christmas.

  • Thanks tiff.

All I remember when I first signed up was a 'one or the other' type of thing - E-vouchers (which I thought were the online discounts but obviously aren't), and another option?

I'll have to look at the account again because I think there's an option to change, which means there's more than one option? Duh! to me :D

    I know that doesn't makes sense - I'll have a look when it's not so late I think :)

    Thanks anyway.

Oh yes, I forgot about Evouchers. WHen you go to Tesco online you can change your clubcard vouchers to evouchers which basically means you can use them when you shop online. I think!

  • Thanks again tiff - I thought there was a choice type of thing. I'll have a look when I fill the basket up.

Have to say though that despite the fiasco with the Valentines flowers and free wine and vodka reduced (hard to believe I moaned and groaned about those last two but I did lol), I can't believe how much can actually be saved.

Someone on these boards is a wizz with the whole Tesco points thing but I've forgotten her name. I'll have to look for that too, but maybe when it's not so late ;)
