I've updated a few little bits on the SS as and when I see them mentioned; i.e the Maggies going up in price; Fairy 56s; cucumber etc. I still find it useful myself even if no one else wants to use it - up to you really.
I can't remember everything that is cheaper in Asda when I go shopping so this is a quick reminder for me of what I can normally buy and then get at least something back on, along with my second basket of stuff that is cheaper at Tesco or BOGOFs. Combine the two and have the best of both worlds. Add your coupons from the Coupon Thread and evern better
Thanks for continuing to update SS, confirmed today from shop yesterday:
1 x TESCO LEMON CURD 411G £ 0.55 £ 0.55

For example;
FAIRY ALLIN ONE D/WASHLEMON 56S £ 12.99 £ 3.00
The choice is: go to ASDA and pay £3, or got to Tesco and pay £12.99 get a voucher for £9.99 and 26 clubcard points - net cost £3 less whatever the clubcard points are worth to you

Both are reasons why we keep doing this.
No Asda locally? but like their offers? if they're price matched, then you get A's offer prices at T's
Before I shopped yesterday, I compared A's to T's, wrote prices on my list, went to M's, bought what was cheaper there, then did 2 baskets in T's, one where they were cheaper, one where A's were cheaper and reclaimed the difference.
It's a little time consuming, but you know you're making your money go as far as possible! Luckily, Mr M's and Mr T's are very close together in my town.The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Ive had the 56 lemon fairy dishwashers confirmed today.
also the dr oetker pollo pizzas.
The pizza speciale was n/a though despite an earlier post somewhere on mse that it was confirmed.
The wilkinson sword extreme sensitive razors were confirmed also.
I had some of my difference knocked out by not having my thinking cap on and picking up a refill instead of a starter kit and the refills are actually cheaper in Tesco. Doh! Still, I can't really take it back as 2 x £5 starter kit vouchers were accepted against it.
Bytheway, my local Tesco have this morning put laminated cards by all tills announcing to the customer that they are keeping receipts for all price check vouchers offered as payment to prevent fraudulent reprinting. If your receipt has clothing or electricals on it you can keep it, so if you've bought a "maggie" (or three) you'd get your receipt back.Love, through the trees, past the sky, beyond the northern lights; and I won't let go. All more reason to check mysupermarket, and to do seperate shops to claim rtd!The mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0 -
Got a couple of small value vouchers, for muller yoghurts and febreze - used the coupons for the febreze, so happy with this. At least i can now use clubcard (!) and get points, and also get items that are cheaper in A - my nearest A is too far to drive, so its good that now i have a chance to get their cheaper items at T and get the difference (if they compare ok). Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread, i know there are lots in the same situation as me with A being far away, and its great to be able to check and see what everyone else is getting. Thanks again. SS0

I'm going to venture to Tesco tomorrow to pick up a couple of packs of the Go Ahead Crispy Slices. They're £1 in Tesco and between £1.50 - £1.89 in ASDA. Using the 30p off coupon from www.goahead.co.uk, this makes them 70p per pack. They'll do for a snack during the day whilst working as I rarely eat anything between breakfast and dinner/tea.10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week0
