Thanks to everyone for introducing me to couponing - it could be as addictive as RTD in the long run!

adammccance I am enjoying following your thread, thanks for starting it. I have used quite a few vouchers over the last few days and have got about £45 worth of shopping for about £13, can get very addictive though.

I used the countrylife voucher a couple of days ago in Tesco and it worked on the 250g block, however this morning I couldn't use it as the cashier refused it and said it can only be used on the spreadable.

For those of you who 'womble' at the Tesco self-service tills, is there not a limit on how many receipts you can check in a month? I picked up a few the other day, but I don't want to check them if they give me just tiny amounts back, and prevent me maybe doing checks on 'larger' receipts.
There is something in my head about being allowed to just check 10 per month. I would be delighted to be corrected!

Just use random, made-up email addresses to enter them. When you come to 'redeem' them, go to price check site and enter a random, made-up email address to access it. Doesn't even have to be the one you used originally.

Stupid, but worked throughout the DTD promotion and still does today.

Hi all thanks for all the info.
This was in Martins email this week but in case the ladies missed it. Little off topic but excellent value.
Buy style mag for £3.70 ( from today) and get a free nails Inc polish in choice of colours green/blueish, orange or beige. It's a full bottle and retails at £11 so bargain if you gave a little DTD voucher to kill!
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A

The 10 per month applies to Asda price guarantees.

however, both Tesco and Asda have a £100 per household limit. Hopelessly hosted though, as multiple email addresses have kept the old dtd and now rtd alive and kicking.

This is from the Tesco Terms & Conditions:
    Fair Use

Tesco Operates a Fair use policy on Price Check. As such:
    1. The number of Price Check requests is limited to 10 per calendar month per household and the total amount of Price Check Vouchers that can be claimed is limited to £100 per calendar month per household.
    2. The maximum value of an individual Price Check Voucher is capped at £20.
    3. Only one Price Check Voucher may be redeemed per household per day.
    HTH.

How can they have a fair use policy like this, surely they have to limit customers to 10 shops a month in that case...

Fair use would to me would mean being allowed to check each shop.

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper I've been Money Tipped!
I've managed to print off 2 of the Velvet Tissue vouchers (clicked on 'first one didn't print properly' as suggested;)) however I want to double-check that it is okay to use them both as it mentioned my IP address when doing it, and the coupons have my name and 'coupons are unique and trackable-duplication will be detected' warning on them.

Don't want to get into bother just for the sake of 50p!

    Thanks:)
