adam: as you mention misprices in your op, is it worth putting in the link to the tesco misprices thread?

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1656271

and what about the tesco 1p finds thread?

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2711727

Gosh, all these new and existing tesco threads are getting confusing..............................

I agree especially as the old DTD thread is still running too
To be fair the 1p and misplaces thread were running for ages before DTD came along but I rarely went to T before DTD and never had any luck with either until I became a regular and more familiar with the stores layout and found the instore scanner!!!

Thanks for your replies. Did no-one get the promotional Non-Bio washing gel?

I didn't, the shelves were empty.

brill thanks, i assumed as it was working while DTD it should keep working after but you never know hw sneaky tescos are going to be. Plan on using £13 DTD voucher plus 3 diff moc's i have should only have to pay 2p and get back a £10odd TD voucher.

It's worth keeping an eye on the 'Updated Printable Money off Coupons & Policies Thread' just to see what's about. It is however worth bearing in mind that just because you can get a 50p coupon off Brand X it doesn't necessarily mean (not to me anyway) that it's worth buying Brand X.

Thanks to Polyanna123 on the misprices thread:

I was overcharged for Cravendale milk on Thursday. The 2L cartons were selling for £1.80 each or 3 for £4.00 (presumably to match ASDA). On the part of the receipt where it deducts the discount, it listed Cravendale 3 for £4 but only deducted 60p (they usually sell this milk 2 for £3 so I think they must have forgotten to change the deduction).

As it should have deducted £1.40, I was overcharged by 80p so I got £1.60 back (had to ask for DTD as was only offered 80p). Net cost for 3 large cartons of milk was therefore £2.40

I'm not sure on the maths on this one - she paid £4.80, when she should have paid £4. She got DTD of £1.60 back, meaning she actually paid £3.20 for the milk, not the £2.40 stated. Still, that's 80p less than ASDA but the receipt will show Tesco were 80p dearer than ASDA, submit to Price Check, get 80p voucher, new net cost £2.40. Their maths is now correct, they just left out the Price Check bit.
