I just had an email saying that I won the Crown paints comp to have a colour consultation and enough paint for three rooms (though the competition Ts&Cs state 'up to four rooms' LOL).

So pleased to have won. Our house really needs decorating after my 3-year old and almost 5-year old have spent the last few years trashing the place so it will be lovely to get the place looking good again.



I also won a £100 Best Buy voucher at the grand opening of the Bristol branch this morning so I'm feeling lucky today. :j

Oh my goodness, this prize turned out to be a million times better than I realised!!!! The colour consultation was fantastic. The interior designer that came was amazing.

She said that if the Ts&Cs had specified up to 4 rooms, then she would help me design 4 rooms and we'd see if they gave us the paint for all 4. Anyway, she classed our lounge/diner as room 1, hall, stairs & landing as room 2, bathroom as room 3 and our bedroom as room 4. Then they realised that the colour we had chosen for the bathroom doesn't exist any more so they have sent us the two closest matches, so we now have enough bathroom paint for the downstairs loo too. Then they ordered Soft Lime instead of Soft Linen for one of the rooms, and when I pointed it out they ordered us the Soft Linen too, so Soft Lime is an extra freebie to do one of my kids rooms. They also ordered Cashmere instead of Cashmere Cuddle so another freebie for my other kid's room. We'll be able to decorate the whole house except the kitchen! How fab!!!!

Thank you so much to Onetreehillgrrrl, the lovely Colour Consultant and to Crown Paints. I'm expecting them to deliver an absolute ton of paint tomorrow.
