Globaltestmarket won't send me my sweepstakes cheque

Imagine my joy in receiving an email from Globaltestmarket telling me I'd won $300 in their sweepstakes. This was December last year. So I waited the 3 months they told me it would take, but no cheque appeared.

Globaltestmarket contracts out their sweepstakes to a company called Don Jagoda Associates, Inc.

I emailed Don Jagoda and Globaltestmarket about this. Globaltestmarket responded pretty quickly and asked for my details, then a week later requested to see the winning email. Which I did. A few days later I got an email saying:
"This matter will be escalated to our Panel Operations team in the United States. I will contact you as soon as I have more information."

The same day as this, I got an email back from Don Jagoda Associates asking if I'd replied by the deadline. Of course I did, wouldn't anyone? So I forwarded them the email they send me saying I'd won and my email back to them with my details.

This was 3 weeks ago, so yesterday I emailed both Globaltestmarket and Don Jagoda asking for an update. Globaltestmarket have not responded, but I got an email back from Don Jagoda pretty quickly, saying that they were investigating the matter today and that they would give me an update "by the end of business". But as I'm sure you can guess, they didn't. So I sent them a reminder, in case they'd forgotten about me (I've got a feeling they're hoping I'll forget about them!)

As Globaltestmarket never got back to me, I emailed them again two weeks ago, and I was told that they are looking into it and will provide me with an update shortly.

So several people are "looking into it" apparently. But they aren't getting very far. I can't understand why it's taking so long. If it was lost in the post or something, surely they could just check to see if it had been cashed, and when the see it hadn't, cancel it and issue a new one? I don't know what to do other than wait for them to get back to me. What else can I do? Has anyone else ever had this problem?
