anyone brought their dress from a website?

Hi everyone
I was just wondering if anyone has brought their dress from a website, rather than buying from a shop?
I was just thinking, if I try on a dress in a shop, then buy that dress online cheaper? My friend alters wedding dresses for a living, so she would be able to do that.
I have seen a nice dress cheap on thebridalshop.com, but how do i know if its ok to buy from them? anyone else brought from this website?
Thanks

I am thinking the exact same thing! its such a saving on these sites- but its only a bargain, if it arrives as you expect!
have been looking at milannoo, allfordress, lightinthebox and millydresses- but all seem to have quite mixed reviews. Think it depends on the seamstress as well as how busy they are.0 -
for me it would need to arrive quite a long way in advance for me to feel comfortable about it.
Allowing enough time to go and choose something else if it turns out not to be what you expected0
