Will any Shops on high street have Nintendo Wii tomorrow

I know this is probably a really silly question, but are any of the shops planning to get any stocks of the Wii tomorrow, or is it purely to fulfil pre-orders?

The Wii's release date is friday, you wont find any until then and if you do you'll be very lucky.

It's due out on the 8th. Doubt they'll be any in the shops though as we have been trying to get one and no one can even guarantee getting it for Christmas. Hoping we will somehow though. May be worth going shopping on Friday if you have the time but....

I would think the best places to try are large Tesco's/ASDAs etc as they are likely to have some stock and they dont take pre orders.

Obviously that will be Friday not tomorrow!!
We took on Mr T and we won:D

Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now

  • On release day, get yourself down to GAME nice and early. I believe most are opening at 6am for the launch. I'd of said that'd be your best bet if you're wanting one.

My local GAME store has sold all day of release stock already. I would think most others will be the same, need to head for stores as mentioned above that do not take pre-orders.

Try Woolworths but you have to pay the full amount upfront. Reserved mine last week and was assured of receiving mine on 8/12/06.
  • Gonna try and pick myself one up in New York on Thursday :) even the yanks are short on stock though, exchange rate well in my favour, will be about £130

My boyfriend works in Tesco's in Bromley by Bow and he says there are loads of them in the storeroom ready to be put out on the relaease date. Guess you would have to be there early to get one though.
