Like many people I have applied for multiple tickets for the olympics to increase my chances. Some people think this is unfair but to me it's the natural thing to do. If However i am fortunate and get allocated tickets to multiple events, can I sell them on to a friend when i like or do I have to wait until the official resale website is up and running ?

Perhaps the profits are going into the OP's pension ? Otherwise it is a bit random.

Maybe the OP plans to retire on the profits made from selling the tickets on?
