I assume you've flown with Lufthansa before?
If not, there's a reason why the tickets are so cheap. Just google Lufthansa reviews:cool:

Even though, it is still a pretty good deal, considering the alternative cheapest option - Aeroflot (Russian airline)- is charging over £480 for the same route, and their reputation is far worse than Lufthansa. Air China or China Eastern charge more than £800, there isn't even any sort of entertainment on their flights.:)

Haven't travelled with them before, but according to Skytrax, they're an official 4-star airline (on par with BA, Emirates etc.). The reviews on Skytrax aren't bad either:

To be fair, when the cheapest tickets to China are usually £500 (if you're lucky), this is an amazing deal.:money:

There cant be anything worse than 5 hours on a Jet2 B757 aircraft. The seats are just plastic to save on weight with no recline.

The Lufthansa reviews are not that bad. They operate older aircraft such as the B747, which you are to expect TV's in the ceiling, and not alot of leg room.

If you want to fly A340, A380 then pay the extra price and fly with a different airline.

This flight is with an A340 aircraft.

Personally, planes are glorified buses. With that in mind, as long as the ticket is cheap and the aircraft has a decent safety record (i.e. not Aeroflot!) then I don't mind. It all comes back to the price - the tickets are £64 each before tax!

Craig - forget the snipes - you have got a great deal there bearing in mind how much the price of flights have gone up in the past few months - have a great time - although visiting the in laws, is that the corrrect phrase to use??

    Only joking :rotfl:

    Enjoy!

I see inside many aircraft through my job.

The A340 is a nice aircraft, with tv screens in each of the headrests. Also i believe they are touch screen too.
