Pc World - mistake in Xbox picture - will they honour it?

Just noticed that Pc World are showing the xbox 360 premium with PES 6 and splinter cell and a media remote for £279. Should be £339, are they likely to honour this if you take a print out in.

Anyone fancy trying it, I'm still recovering from unsuccessful r&r on an xbox at Tesco.
  • Wouldn't bet on it, yesterday I went into pc-world with an advert from fridays sun newspaper advertising a pc with a 512mb graphics card for £700 but long story short pc-worlds policy is that if an advert or whatever is wrong they just take it off the shelf and dont sell it to you.

    Absolutely, 100%. (No that is.)

That's a completely different matter. If they have a printed advert with a misleading description and they refuse to sell you it you should immediately report them to Trading Standards AND the Advertising Standards Authority.
You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.
  • I'm sure I saw this package advertised on TV last night for this price at PC World. Seems the best offer around currently, except if you managed to get a free one out of Tescos!!!
  • This looks a better offer

I don't think this is true, a retailer normally has a disclaimer in case of mis-prints plus they are well within their rights to refuse to sell and item and withdraw it from sale rather than do it at the incorrect price.
