trick Amazon Android Market?

Hey all,
Amazon released their own version of Androids market. Now, there are two problems with this thing -
1: It's not exactly what one would call easy to purchase even if you are able to purchase their apps because Amazon insist on going through their payment service.
2: You can't avail of their '1 free app per day' if you are not in the states & and on certain carriers (eg. Verizon)
Does anyone know of way that i can trick the amazon app into thinking that im part of the verizon network, i did it before by using an app that tricks the phone into saying its part of another network, but this didnt work for Amazon.
Anyone any ideas in what to do?? some of the daily free apps are great!
