Have you received your Tesco refund yet?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place and please feel free to move it if necessary but just wanted to try reach all those that were overcharged by Tesco for online shopping last week. It was mentioned on the tesco discussion thread and on the warnings board but not many people seem to have seen it.

Last week Tesco had problems nationally with their computers and everyone who did online shopping were charged full price as none of the BOGOF or promotional discounts/reductions were processed. If you had a grocery delivery last week, especially on Tuesday, check your invoices and receipts!

CS promised that we would receive an email detailing how much the overcharge was and that we would be refunded, but I've never received that and I know many others haven't either. It also seems CS don't really know what's going on as first they said the refunds would be issued by the stores but now they say HO is dealing with it, but almost a week later and nothing!

Just how many people have been overcharged and not even realised!!! At this time of year people are spending more than usual anyway, so may not have noticed their bill was higher. Not to mention the fact that Tesco is sitting on our money earning interest and have kept a very low profile about this, probably hoping we haven't noticed! :mad:

So, has anyone actually received a refund yet?

    You're quite right many people may not have noticed being overcharged. Your thread should get more response on the Shop but don't drop board, so I'll move it over there.

    I did get a refund from Tesco last week to my card!
    But didn't realise why, I've had no e-mail about it...

    I have had my refund, but only yesterday. I posted on here on Tuesday, too, just to bring people's attention to the problem, but my guess is that some won't have noticed. Looks like Mr T wins again!

    I noticed straight away when my shopping was delivered, so i rang local T only to be told i had to ring head office for a refund, who told me it was to be dealt with by local T.

    I ended up storming down there as i had been given the worlds smallest cauliflower which i wanted my money back on, and demanded a goodwill gesture for being overcharged. I got the delivery charge back and some of the 2 for 2 pound offers were refunded as bogofs.

    One of the staff said all the computers had gone down at 9am that day, but thought someone at T would have noticed that the offers werent on the sheets?:mad:
