  • Hi everyone, nice to see your doing well.
I managed to sell my first item of the year on ebay! (I must list more often) after fees made £28.78 (and as it was tickets to a show in Birmingham I will save on fuel and lunch costs too by opting to stay home and watch TV instead...)(which is usually in excess of £100)~obviously I wont count that though! I also got £41.97 reimbursements from work...my total is now a lovely fat £219.57 ... I may even hit my target with any luck? :T

:j Just checked my Top Cash Back account, and had £71.31 payable, from the Child Trust Fund we finally got around to setting up a few months ago for my son, and from my OHs new phone contract with o2, which paid £35 each!! :D:D
Had all but forgotten about them, as I try to do with Cashback so that it seems like a nice bonus when I see it becomes payable!!
Will add it to the total when it hits my bank, so will either be a nice push for the end of May, or a nice head start for June.

  • I am now up to £251.53 thanks to a few buy it nows closing on ebay and after fees getting an extra £31.96 :) I might manage to get to the magic £310 yet you never know :) This is the first month I have kept all the pennies I have made in a savings account and not counted discounts / coupons etc in my total...so it is ALL mine and real cash :j It feels so much nicer to look at my online balance and see it rising...A much needed incentive to keep making the pot bigger.

Good luck every one else. I am off to raid the cupboards for more to ebay...:D

I've been doing the maths and with just over a week to go I'm expecting £30 max to come in :( This is the worst month for the challenge I've had!!

Must try harder in June - It's my birthday month and I usually get a good wad of cash so hopefully I can get over my target to make up for it :)

£8 net from ebay sales yesterday. Doing so badly this month I decided bold action was needed to up my total so I got a Virgin life insurance policy via topcashback (£35 cashback and £50 M&S voucher) which should net me £55 profit. I'm going to include that in this month's total even though I know its not guaranteed. Gotta do something to up my miserable tally!

I really think ebay is an excellent way to raise a little extra money. Every time I think I've got nothing left to sell, I have a little scout around the house and hey presto there's always a little something that can go....

Will definitely be joining up for June...well done to all those who met their targets...
