THANK-YOU this is ace...I will definately put £100 in there by xmas so I get the £5 bonus :T I tend to waste my clubcard vouchers on silly things as for food shops they are only worth 1:1 but deals are 1:3 of the value (I just had a family of four 4 night holiday in the London west end for only £6.95 and a years membership to YHA...however those free museums seem to suck cash out when your not looking and we still spent over £100 a day!!! even with deals vouchers paying for pizzas etc too...) I reckon it is cheaper to just take the food buying option instead.

I am on MSE now so those silly holidays will stop now...only have one more extravagance booked then I am tightening my purse strings (dad paid for 4 days to eurodisney and mum in law paid for eurostar travel with her clubcard vouchers!...again I just need spends ) I doubt that will happen again though. Camping in the garden next year :)

I am off to look at Mr Ts website.

problem is London or any other city is expensive, even if you are mse and bring your own food, etc. just getting a bottle of water or an ice cream... it all adds up...

    but still, you did well.

Had a nice surprise of £125 in the current account yesterday, a "Switch Incentive" bonus. Thought I would have to chase it, so very pleasantly surprised when it arrived on its own, and early to boot!

Sold another DVD, but probably only another 50p or so to add... will update after posting.

Thanks to Purpleroses for the heads up on another free listing weekend on fleaBay! :T

Now, must see what I can find...

I've totally lost track of all the extra money I've made this month, oops! Will try and sit down later and come up with the total. It includes some eBaying, babysitting and a car boot sale, so should be a nice amount.

I have the day off work so I've been working hard and I'm now sitting down to type up descriptions and weigh items for fast listing on eBay over the weekend. Going to stick my neck out there and say I'm aiming for 100 items on eBay this weekend. And go!

    Afternoon

Posted my last ebay item for a while yesterday - another £3.62.
My 83p from topcashback arrived as did £23 in vouchers from Tesco (I'm counting money vouchers but not points vouchers).

So my new total is £65.58 - nearly halfway (ish)!
Will do bit more listing this afternoon - I know it's free at the weekend but I can never get on the pooter at the weekends because I leave it to the kids! Time to pull rank perhaps!
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.
