£40 for 13 bottles can't be bad!

Er, the above deal is pretty good - it can be used with the £25 off voucher (virginradio/VIP) I know because I just did it!
Comes to £39.98 including p&p which is only slightly more than the Majestic deal but I think you get some much better wines in this case - and 12 different ones as well.0 -
Noppe, for some reason it asks me to call them - maybe I've registered too many times for the Flying Club free 13th bottle, or something?

Would they see that I've used my credit card for different addresses or something?0 -
Yes, they recognise the credit card...
Make sure your email address is different too.
Try using your Egg card, I think they have cashback on Virgin wines?0 -
Thanks, looks like they're running out of the reds though.
Think I'll stick with Laithwaites - always had good wine from them.0 -
Just used the £25 voucher, and got 12 bottles for £27 inc delivery. And they then gave me an additional £20 voucher for signing up to their premier service. Thanks very much for posting this0

Having run out of wine (again) I did a quick trawl of the Virgin website looking for some cheap cases. The following stood out, <£60 for a mixed case, and with suitable use of the Virgin Flying club (or similar) and the £25 voucher you can get 13 bottles of very drinkable plonk for just under £40 delivered approx £3 a bottle.
The red only case seems to have low stock that fluctuates, but managed to grab a case this morning (having been out of stock all last night):
White Only fiver a bottle
Red Only fiver a bottle
Mixed
There are also slightly more expensive cases with a similar mix of bottles:
Mixed Red White

Looks like Virgin may have been stung one time too many with vouchers:
"Many apologies for the confusion here, we are in the process of increasing
the minimum spend on a case, however I believe you may have been caught in the transition phase! You should be ok to proceed with your order with the
minimum spend of £50, but if you are having problems doing this, please give
us a call on the number below and we will put the order through for you. However please note that in the near future the minimum spend against which you can redeem vouchers will be increased £65."
Looks like it's time to take a serious look at Laithwaites!
