or tie backs in my kitchen i bought some gorgeous lilac braided type ribbon and it had beads threaded on to it. the bead hang down off the braid and i then just sewd a ring onto each end. they look so pretty.

I buy cheap sprigs of fake flowers from places like Dunelm or The Range. I cut them up and use a hot glue gun (a thousand and one uses, every home should have one) to create my own trailing tiebacks. The beauty of this is that a couple of sprigs and maybe a fake ivy sprig can be split up to create co-ordination for the whole room - candles, cushion edges, throws etc. Also using them on a voile can add extra glamour to your window.Integrity is a dying art!:p0
