 I' have for the first time ever today looked at my Credit report and found two problems on it, one is from
HILLESDEN SECURITIES LIMITED saying i owe £1.400 for hire purchess taken out in 2001, only thing i had on HP back then was car and it was paid up by my PP insurance in full after i got a solicitor involved. problem is how do i prove it was paid up in full i've no proof after 10years and the solictor i used left the firm
also on my report is an Orange phone bill of £108.oo I've never had an orange phone in my life I've been with o2 for years first was payg then over to contract i've never defaulted on that
how silly have i been not checking my credit record before, now i know why i was turned down for a loan, depsite the fact i had paid one off in two years and that was for £3000.00
anyone know how i can sort this out, HILLESDEN SECURITIES LIMITED have put me as defaulted on payments on my report even though it dated back to 2001 and it was paid off
and as for orange i've looked how to contact them about it but can't seem to find anything
Sorry people i'm just worried now
the person i spoke to at the credit ref agency said " you have a good credit record other then those two

I have never heard anything either by post or phone from HILLESDEN SECURITIES how can they just put a default notice on my Credit report without me knowing?
this dates back to 2001 from what i can see, and now it looks like it will be on my record and it says default date as 2006 ,
also file updated for the period to 7/11/2011 what does this mean??
lost of views but no help yet i've no idea what to do i am looking around the internet but can't seem to see any help0 -

Hi,
After a quick look on google, it looks like Hillesden Security is a DCA.
A Link to a forum i found about it is below.

Maybe this will have some answers?
I dont have much else I could add.
But you wont have anything with their name on from 2001 as the wouldnt be the ones who had the debt in the first place. They have bought it since.
Why dont you send them a prove it letter - seen examples knocking around the boards - and ask them to prove what the debt is or speak to experian - they may have more details on there screen.
As for the solicitors - even if the solicitor left the firm the practice itself should still have your records...
Just a thought.....Car Paid in full - 10/06/2016 :j0 -
