JSA Bank holiday pay

Hi need help

I'm signing on tomorrow 27th april 2011 and i usually get paid on the monday, but my pay day falls on the bank holiday 2nd may. so i was wondering when would i get paid? As im not sure and its the royal wedding on friday so thats also classed as a bank holiday. any one know?

Without wanting to sound rude, there is already a thread about this further down.

I signed on today and was advised I would be paid earlier because my normal payment day falls on a bank holiday.

when you signed on at the jobcentre you should have been given a form with your bank holiday signing dates on, and the dates of issue of your payments. If you are due to sign on a bank holiday, you are excused that day, and sign on 2 weeks later at the normal time. If your payment is DUE on the bank holiday (ie 3 working days after your signing day) your payment will be made on the working day immediately before (id due 29/4 or 2/5; paid 28/4) All other payments will be processed 1 or 2 days early to allow for the bank holidays, but will be due on the normal payday (ie sign on Thursday 28th, payment issued Tuesday 26th so that it is paid on the following Tuesday)

My sister and her boyfriend have a joint claim and signed on Tuesday (26 April).

Usually get paid JSA on the Friday, but been told they will not get paid until next Tuesday (3 May)
