Some people make a living doing this... admitted doing the offer at all when you are not entitled is wrong, but 300 (actually that is tame, I have heard stories of much worse) is taking the mickey. As far as I am concerned it should be a serious crime. Taking one when not entitled is like stealing a packet of sweets, taking hundreds is like ransacking the sweet shop!2 + 2 = 4
except for the general public when it can mean whatever they want it to.0 -
I have come to expect this. There is always a greedy so and so who spoils it for everyone.
I'm pretty sure a lot of these companies will eventually stop giving out vouchers because of the obnoxious abuse it attarcts.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

There's always a few high and mighty posts when things like this happen. It would be interesting to see the statistics, but I'd guess that well over 50% of posters on this thread applied more than once...............;)No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

The operative word being 'guess.' Please don't tar the rest of us with your dubious moral outlook.0 -
Come on now, everyone calm down. I think just with the sheer numbers of people ordering just one it would be too much for the company to deal with. So lets just sit tight and see if anything happens, if we get them, we get them, if not it isn't the end of the world and we shouldn't all be snapping at one another along the way.0

Question: How do we know they 'made a mistake' ? - surely thats just an assumption.
Maybe they just realised that WAY too many people were using the deal, and reduced it to just £1. Now, they've stopped it all together. (Like you say, prob because of the abuse...)0 -
hi ordered a dvd yesterday £5.49 and used the £5 voucher emailed them and have been told it is on its way.and the 49p has been taken out of my bank.0

I've had my order cancelled and the £2.49 I spent refunded. They said that the dvd I ordered wasnt available from the supplier and that they'd been unable to find further stock. Wonder how many people will get the same email? The dvd was The Last Samuri (Tom Cruise).
Just checked my emails again and found I now have another e-voucher from them because of the cancelled order! They are obviously going to honour all the orders made.0 -

CD WOW gave me the same reason when I ordered NCIS season 1 as part of their pre christmas sale but I emailed their head of customer service to say it is in stock on their site and in the end they gave me the boxset free of charge.
Don't know if they would honour the DVD on this occassion if you emailed them as the voucher is suppose to be for capital one customers only0
