Paying in book: costs

Options
Hi All,

Have a quick question. I received a paying in book from Moorcroft after they accepted my offer of payment of £1 per month whilst I am on JSA. Does anyone know what the post office charge for this service, and is it cheaper than a second class stamp?

Thanks

Also, they say all payments must be made via this book. Does that mean they will terminate the agreement if I decide to send in cheques instead?

thanks Mandy. If the post office charge that much then I will be sending Moorcroft cheques instead, despite what they say, and will ask for a standing order form
  • Sometimes paying in books can be used at a Shop which accepts Paypoint, this would be free to use. Is there anymore info on the book?
