Working for a Bankrupt client

Hi
I have been approached by someone who wants me to do some work for them.
I got worried when he got very panicky about his name and phone number being visible on a website so I Googled him and discovered he has been declared bankrupt and banned from being a Company Director for 7 years.
Am I OK to keep working for him knowing there will be creditors out there looking for him, or is this common place?

My main worry would be whether or not he will pay for the work you've done for him."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

He is actually one of the better payers I have on my books. Always within 30 days, normally on delivery.
Good point though - I will however make sure he doesn't run up a bill.0 -
To be honest, the majority of BRs are unlikely ever to run up debt again, it's a case of 'been there, not going back', so I'm not surprised he's one of your better payers. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

BR not an issue but why banned for 7 years? Does that not indicate a BRO/DRO? You only get those if you've been a naughty boy .. either failed to co-operate, hidden assets or had gambling debts. That right?

He was in a business which took deposits and I think some of those went 'missing'...0

Directors Disqalification details below, similar to a BRO/BRU, but relates to unfit conduct for a limited company.
