I was and I will now but I rang Romford yesterday afternoon and they said they accepted them and as Romford is 50 miles closer than Norwich, I thought I'd try there firstThere is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Does anyone know if Grimsby has a decent electrical department?
I have used some vouchers in Halifax, but tbh it is not a very good store.0 -
I am only 15 miles from Sleaford and have read on here that they accept them. Do they scan them at checkout? I'm a bit nervous they can find out that they have already been used online:j :j :j :j Thanks to all the MSE members for helping me out with coupons and vouchers :A :A :A :A :A0

Both these companies are absolutely screwing consumers and suppliers to make millions of pounds
Both companies are willing to bend over backwards and engage in any level of marketing campaign tricks to steal custom off each other.
Sainsburys will give you the value of your paper Tesco vouchers off their shopping - a cynical marketing ploy to get you shopping there.
Tesco let you redeem your paper vouchers online for deals tokens, a cynical marketing ploy.
This suggestion is not illegal, it is not against any terms and conditions and it is taking advantage of the fact both supermarkets want to screw each other and steal each others customers.
Fill yer boots I reckon. My paper Tesco vouchers could have been in the bin for 6 months, they could have been redeemed online or they could have been up a cow's backside for all Sainsbury's care. If I have Tesco vouchers they want my custom to go to them and not to Tesco. They want to challenge the loyalty I have to Tesco to have earned the vouchers. The vouchers are not stolen, they have not been purchased off ebay, they are mine, and two people want to give me something for them - so be it, more fool them.0 -

even though it states that they accept them, sleaford store say that they dont, so i would ring them and ask firstdont wait for your boat to come in, get in a dingy and row out to it!!!0 -
Hi people,
This is my first post even though I have had a look round for a few weeks to see what is happening. Excellent place.
However mine is not a happy tale! I saw Romford listed as a Sainsbury store accepting the vouchers, but I called their CS to make sure. They confirmed Romford store is accepting them. My other half called the store and they confirmed they are accepting them. When we arrived at the store we asked again at the CS and the guy said yet again that they are accepting them.
When we arrived at the checkout they assistant said she did not think they took them, and the supervisor called the store manager. The manager spoke with the CS guy then told us there was a misunderstanding and that they would not accept them. When we explained that we had checked 3 times, he just asked who we spoke to and became quite unpleasant.
Please be aware!Monty & SJ0 -

Put in a complaint to Sainsbury Head Office, they are giving out duff info which you then double checked with the store.
My nearest store taking Tesco coupons would be a long drive and I would really mad if I checked before hand and then they turned me down.
Let us know how you get on if you do complain.0
